Is an Infant entitled to any baggage allowance?

When travelling with an infant under 2 years of age without his/her own seat, Qatar Airways allows you to carry 1 piece of hand - baggage, not exceeding 10Kgs within a maximum allowed dimension of 50 X 37 X 25 cm.

 

Please find below the checked baggage entitlements :

On all flights:

An Infant is entitled to 10 kg of checked baggage.

 

Trans-Atlantic Flights:

One piece not exceeding 23 Kgs (economy class) / 32kgs (business or first class) is allowed per infant. The dimension of this bag must not exceed 158cm (length +breadth+height).

 

In addition, a fully collapsible stroller, pushchair or carrycot  may be checked without charge.  This applies to infants or children.
